About Youran

Youran Lee is a performer, choreographer, and dance educator represented by CESD Talent Agency. With a B.S. in Applied Psychology from New York University, Youran combines her love for dance with her love for people by striving to create dance spaces that are diverse, inclusive, and of high caliber & quality.

Youran (pronounced You-ron) is from San Diego, California, and is now based in New York City. She has over 19 years of dance experience, with 9 years of teaching experience. Her expertise spans multiple different dance forms, including Hip Hop, Jazz/Contemporary, Street Jazz/Jazz Funk, Waacking, House, and Heels. She currently runs her own company, YLDC, that has performed all around the NY/NJ area. She started off in the community dance team scene through competitive teams such as Syde FX, iLL Habits, and The Neighbors. During her time on the Neighbors, she served as the youngest Artistic Director the team has ever had, and under her leadership, they won 1st place at World of Dance, 2nd place at Elements, and more.

She now works as a professional dancer in the NYC dance industry, and teaches all around the city at studios such as Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, Modega, PMT, & PJM.

Outside of dance, Youran loves to sing (particularly early 2000’s RnB classics), and is currently learning photography and videography on her own. She also loves to travel and find the best food to eat in each different city she travels to.
